Chat & commands
Everything you can do by talking to Synloom — plus the slash commands.
Chat is a full control surface for your workspace. It reads your evidence, canvas, and outcomes automatically, answers grounded in that context, and proposes changes you approve before anything lands.
What you can ask
- Questions about your data — “What are our top problems?”, “Which evidence supports churn?”
- Creation — “Create a persona for enterprise admins”, “Draft a brief for the onboarding fix.”
- Running agents — “Run a SWOT on this”, “Synthesize my evidence.”
- Feedback — paste a half-written PRD and ask for gaps and weak assumptions.
How proposals work
When chat wants to add something to the canvas, it shows a preview — a “ghost” node — with an Accept / Reject choice. High-stakes actions like synthesis ask for an explicit confirm before running. Nothing mutates your canvas silently, and AI-created nodes are reversible.
Slash commands
Type “/” at the start of a message to run a quick command:
/synthesize [focus]Run synthesis, optionally focused on a topic.
/agent <id> [goal]Spawn and run a specific agent (e.g. /agent scout-v2).
/phase <name>Switch to a phase (evidence, synthesis, discovery, …).
/evidenceJump to the Evidence tab.
/brief [text]Create a brief node.
Prefer plain language? You never need slash commands — they’re just shortcuts. Asking in words works for everything.
